Troubleshooting

Fixes for the most common issues - the widget, chatbot answers, channels and notifications.

Most issues fall into a few buckets. Work through the relevant section below.

The chat widget doesn't appear

  • Confirm the snippet is on your published site, not just a draft or preview.
  • Make sure you pasted the entire snippet, before the closing </body> tag.
  • Check that another script or a privacy/ad blocker isn't blocking it.
  • Hard-refresh the page (clear cache) and try again.

The chatbot gives weak or wrong answers

  • The knowledge base may be missing the topic - add a source that covers it.
  • You may have changed content without re-training - re-train after any update.
  • The source may be thin or unclear - write a focused article for the question.

A channel isn't receiving messages

  • Re-check the connection in Settings → Channels - does it still show connected?
  • For WhatsApp, confirm your business number is eligible and the connection is authorised.
  • For email, confirm the address is connected and routing in.

I'm not getting notifications

  • Check your notification preferences in settings.
  • Confirm browser notifications are allowed for Saleszium.
  • Make sure conversations are being assigned to you (or your team).

I've hit a limit

  • You may have reached a plan limit (tokens, members, sources, scans or campaigns).
  • Review usage in Settings → Billing and consider upgrading - see Plans & billing.
