The fastest way to a useful chatbot is to train it on content you already have: your website. This walkthrough takes you from zero to a trained bot.
Before you start
- Know the URL of the site (or the specific sections) you want the bot to learn.
- Make sure those pages are publicly reachable.
Steps
- Open Knowledge Base and choose Add source.
- Select the website / URL option and paste your address.
- Let Saleszium read the pages. Larger sites take a little longer.
- Review the imported content and remove anything you don't want the bot to use.
- Start training.
- Wait for the training complete confirmation.
Test the result
- Open the chatbot preview.
- Ask questions your pages should answer (pricing, features, policies).
- Note any weak answers.
Improve it
- Add a document or write an article to fill gaps.
- Re-train after any change.
Re-train when content changes
Your website will keep evolving. Re-import and re-train whenever you publish important updates so the bot never gives stale answers.
