Send a targeted email to a CRM segment and track how it performs, from draft to results.

This walkthrough sends an email campaign to a segment of your contacts and measures the response.

Before you start

  • Have a connected email channel.
  • Know the audience you want to reach (a list or segment in your CRM).

Steps

  1. Open Campaigns and create a new email campaign.
  2. Choose your audience - a segment from your CRM.
  3. Write the subject and body. Start from a template and personalise it.
  4. Preview the message and send yourself a test.
  5. Schedule the campaign, or send it now.

After it sends

  1. Open the campaign's performance view.
  2. Track opens, clicks and responses.
  3. Note what worked, and apply it to the next send.
Segment for relevance

A smaller, well-targeted list usually beats a big generic blast. Use CRM segments to send the right message to the right people.
