Install the widget
Add the Saleszium chat widget to your website so visitors can talk to your chatbot and your team.
The widget is the chat bubble that appears on your website. It's how visitors reach your chatbot and your live agents, and how Saleszium sees who is browsing your site.
How installation works
Saleszium gives you a small snippet to add to your website. You paste it once, and the widget appears on every page.
- Open Settings → Installation (or the Widget / Channels area).
- Copy your unique widget snippet.
- Paste it into your website's HTML, just before the closing
</body>tag - or add it through your site builder / tag manager. - Publish your site and refresh - the chat bubble should appear.
Most platforms (Webflow, WordPress, Shopify, etc.) have a place to add custom code or a "header/footer scripts" setting. Paste the snippet there once and it applies site-wide.
Customise the widget
Before or after installing, you can style the widget to match your brand:
- Name and avatar for the chatbot.
- Colours and position (which corner it sits in).
- A welcome message and suggested questions.
Confirm it's working
- The chat bubble appears on your live site.
- Opening it starts a conversation with your chatbot.
- New visitors show up in Live visitor tracking.
Check that the snippet is on the published site (not just a draft), that you copied the whole snippet, and that no other script is blocking it. See Troubleshooting.
